What Matters Most

Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in a person’s heart but is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

What on earth am I here for? Many of us have thought about that question. Oftentimes, we ponder day and night for the answer. But God gave us our reason long before we were born.

Is your purpose about you? Maybe above all else you are here to help another person. Perhaps your life is defined through someone else who needs you more than can be put into words.

What a great service to the Lord, placing someone else’s needs before your own. Such an endearing and touching impression it makes.

What matters most is that “we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and have been called according to His purpose”. Romans 8:28
