Shining Light

Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear: I am with you; Do not be anxious I am your God.  I will strengthen you.  I will help you.  I will uphold you with My Victorious right hand.”

My seven year old grandson shared this verse that he had memorized from The Bible with us as we were driving around looking at Christmas lights. 

The following day I listened to all kinds of disturbing news about shootings.  I knew it was time for me to renew my mind with brave words of truth from The Bible just as my grandson innocently had been doing the day before.“When I am afraid I will trust in The Lord.  In God whose Word I praise.  In God I trust and am not afraid.  What can mere mortals do to me?” This is found in Psalms 56: 2-4.

On my coffee break I will be thinking about these words from The Bible. I hope you will take time to think about it, too.
