Rainy Day

“Rain stopped falling from the sky, and water stopped flowing from under the earth.”

What was it like to be alive when the floodgates of Heaven closed following so much rain? Did Noah ever question why he was building an ark? 

Genesis 6:9 gives this account of Noah from The Bible, “Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.” 

The Bible says Noah did all God commanded him and built an ark with his sons, while the people looked on and laughingly made fun of them until the day it started to rain endlessly.

Thinking of this with my coffee in hand, we needed the rainfall Sunday.

Driving in it sometimes we could not see very far ahead, and were forced to patiently slow down from heavy rain on our journey.
It took longer but we arrived at our destination.  Sometimes we just have to make the best of a rainy day.
