Put on God's Armour

Rose Publishing put out this illustration and it's excellent. It gives the verses of the Bible where it tells us to put on the full armour of God everyday.

My husband went even further and wrote a why for each piece of armour. 

Here are the 6 encouraging steps:

1. The Belt of Truth

Know the truth and speak the truth

2. The Breast Plate of Righteousness

Know what the right thing is to do, and then do it.

3. The Shield of Faith

Shield yourself from Satan’s lies and temptations

4. The Sandals of the Gospel with the spikes

Stand firm with the message of salvation – Jesus died

     for our sins and rose from the dead.

5. The Helmet of Salvation

Guard against what you hear – what you see – what you say – and what you think

6. The Sword of the Spirit

Rely on the Holy Spirit to help you fight off Satan’s lies and temptations

and make you the person God created you to be.

Put the Amor on every day!
