My Playlist

1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 

Harbor Lights…it’s on my playlist. I love that song by the Platters. It’s the only song I know that starts out with the sound effect of a foghorn and a ship’s bell. I hear it about every morning while driving out somewhere to get our “take-home” for breakfast. Driving puts me right in the mood for a great tune such as this.

Harbor Lights…”I saw the harbor lights; they only told me we were parting; the same old harbor lights that once brought you to me…” Oh, such a beautiful melody.

And…as my mind wanders as I think about how the Lord came into my life…a time when I most needed Him with the days I faced ahead, my son being in the Marines, the death of my dad and mom, my husband’s surgeries, and so many other challenging times.

I listen to my playlist while driving, starting with music and leading to my devotional thoughts. Have a glorious day and think about how the Lord has led you through some difficult times.
