My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own

My playlist has a few of Connie Francis' songs on it. I love her voice. One thing I like about the vintage song titles are how clever the wording.

A favorite of mine is "My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own". 

That's how my days go with my faith. My heart wants to follow the Lord; my mind seeks to be critical. Not a good match up. 

Reading various devotionals are good for my mind and heart. "Jesus Calling" is one I tap into daily.
