John 13:12. “The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of The Lord.”
Pondering the words being sung as I drank my morning coffee, and listened to the lyrics of Christian artist,
Taya's song "The Reminder."
"You have always been good to me. You’re faithful. I know You love me just for me.” How true that is of The Savior, Jesus Christ, The Lord.
I titled this devotional, "In the Pink," today because I picked out some bright pink glasses to wear after much indecisiveness. I turned and smiled at this lady also choosing her glasses and said these pink ones are fun. She agreed saying they were fun and bold. You are my new best friend I told her.Quickly the office girl discouraged me from using them for bifocals. The brilliant, lovely customer agreeing about the fun colored glasses, shared with me, “It’s not the glasses that make the person. It’s the person that makes the glasses.” My new best friend, this special stranger looked me in the eye and said, “I will be your new best friend if you promise to be bold and be yourself.”
In other words, I think she was saying do not be afraid to be who you were meant to be. We shook hands after I told Monica my name and promised her I would.
Ecclesiastes 11:7-8 in The Bible says to remember The Creator in your youth. “Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes to see the sun. However how many years anyone may live, let them enjoy them all.”

At the end of the same day, after deciding on pink glasses, the sun was setting followed by, you guessed it, a rare, full pink
Moon. The One who created me once again put His artistic flair on the day and smiled because God and I love the beautiful color pink.
My husband took these pictures from the backyard.
