"A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need." —PROVERBS 17:17 NLT
I was reading Liz Curtis Higgs' devotion about friendship. I love her definition of a friend: "Friend (noun): Someone who cries when you cry, laughs when you laugh, tells you when you have lipstick on your teeth or a run in your panty hose, and never tells a soul your age or dress size."
Mom always said if you can count your true friends on my hand, consider yourself very fortunate. I have been fortunate to have close life-long friends.
Becky Kaiser Moyer. She was one whom I considered a true friend. She was so kind and so giving. I wrote about her a few times in my devotions. In the grieving process, it is good to write about those whom one misses and holds close.
One of life's pleasures she enjoyed was baking. Every year, for the Pets Uniting People Society's fundraiser, she'd bake five different flavored pies. Each pie brought a great price at the auction.
