Don't Worry, Be Happy

Enjoying a hot cup of coffee on a cooler than usual spring day, and hoping you will join me. 

Music can often set the tone for my day and help me to handle daily irritations a little more good naturedly. Listening to praise and worship music the other day these words really expressed how I was feeling. "On my worst day, on my best, I'm a child of God. Lord, it doesn't matter about the rest, if I've got You, I'm blessed." Can you identify with the lyrics to that song?

Lately, I have changed my viewing habits. I sit out on the porch watching cars go by and trying to spot hummingbirds and orioles. Finding solace from all the media talking points and focusing on being away from the chaos and negative messages. 

Suddenly it dawns on me that one can have a relaxing vacation by just sitting on their front porch, and it will not cost anything! More music lyrics, "It's like the brightest sunset waiting on the other side of darkest night, just moments from the break of dawn. Maybe you just haven't seen it yet."

Remember today that God has the solution before you have the problem.    

Luke 12:25-26  "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?"
