Genesis 2:11-12 “…let the earth burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant, and fruit trees with seeds inside the fruit, so that these seeds will produce the kinds of plants and fruits they came from. And so it was, and God was pleased.”

Time for fresh strawberries again. The gardening show of delicious varieties of fruits and vegetables begins. Our grandchildren are so excited about the growing vegetables they have planted. The peas were doing so good in the grow box until a family of bunnies ate them for lunch and supper. There is always something new to learn about gardening. We do not mind sharing some food, but like to keep a fair portion of it for ourselves.

All that we have comes from The Father’s hand.

Our littlest granddaughter is the age of one. Most times when we do something for her she says a word that in her heart means thank-you. It sounds more like Dah-doo. She puts her tiny hand to her mouth in a form of sign language, at the same time she speaks the word, like she’s throwing a kiss.
The Lord knows what she means, but so do we. God is always honored when we speak heartfelt words and demonstrate attitudes that reflect thankfulness.
