Happy Thanksgiving!

“Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.  For The Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Yesterday the family met for our Thanksgiving dinner.  After prayer we all enjoyed a big meal.  My husband and I furnished the turkey and ham.  I made mashed potatoes and layered them in a crockpot along with two pumpkin pies.  My four adult children and families provided side dishes.  We feasted on great food and good company.

Someday in Heaven we will do the same. The Bible tells us God likes to eat.  Revelation 19:9 “Then the Angel said to me, “Write this:
Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of The Lamb!”  And He added, “These are the true words of God.”

While I am not sure what is really on the menu at the wedding supper of The Lamb, I have confidence it will be the best feast I have ever tasted.  Each Thanksgiving will bring a smile knowing I can look forward to that.
