Accessorize Life

Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting: but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”Isn’t it true that some women seem to have it all, no matter what their age? They got style, beauty, grace, and a gift for knowing what looks good whether it’s clothing or interior design for the home. She’s got it together.

Well, my friends, I am not one of those women. However, I know many women who are like that and there are at least 10 at "Downtown Diva" in Urbana, OH. They KNOW how to accessorize and place just the right scarf with a sweater or just the right necklace with a dress. I don't wear dresses much anymore, but I can say I have found many wonderful tops at "Downtown Diva" and the one I wore at "Autumn Leaves" this year was from there. I got more compliments on that top and one was from a guy! 

At times, I call upon these women for advice when I feel the need. I can always find something that fits the occasion at "Downtown Diva". Here are a few photos from their window displays.I like reading about style and discovering what’s all the rage in fashion.

That’s why I enjoy reading about Jill Swanson. She is a lady I know and she was to be one of our next speakers for “Beauty from the Inside Out” before the event and “Family Journal” magazine ended.

She wrote a wonderful article for our 2017 “On a Mission” magazine that I think you might enjoy. It’s about accessorizing! Take note of her scripture she shares toward the end. Definitely, she is a beauty from the inside, out!
